WE!
"Good morning everyone, thank you for this lovely morning tea, does anyone have any anouncement?"
Audrey s'est alors levée :
"Yes I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful time we had in the welfare group...
THANKS TO
Andrew Who helped us a lot at the beginning,
and to settle in Australia with the bank, the car, the insurance… Always one
hour at a time!
Who always shared his HUGE knowledge, explaining
to us everything from the policy, to the origin of certain words and gestures
such as, …
Ian Who made us find out about the lovely
Macadamia nuts and…the joy of statistics!!
Who lent us so many documents not only scientific
but also for our travels everywhere.
David Our best bleeder, master of the celldyn,
this evil machine
Thank you for all the long discussions
about everything, on our way to the animal house to feed the sheep
Jim,
Dom and Matt, this eternal trio who showed
us we could remain big children and make research really fun, and delightful
Jim Who showed us how to speak proper
Australian without eating flies
Dom Who cooked us lovely Aussie breakfast in
the absence of platypus
Matt Who first taught me how to catch a sheep
Caroline who let me ride her amazing horse, and lent
me all her gear. Thank you for these wonderful moments talking together in the
paddock.
Good luck with your baby, we wish you lots
of happiness
Brad Always optimistic, even when everything is
going wrong, you can still hear him joking and laughing from the other end of
the lab
Enjoying scarying us. Luckily, he couldn’t
find any snake for that!!!!
Linda Who gave me confidence in the lab in
order to be able to try to help Brad then!
Drew Who I mistook for Dom at the beginning
Who cheered the French rugby team more
than us… which was easy!
Bec The Queen of body attack
Who shared her long hours in the animal
house with me when I had no work.
********
We felt welcome and part of this awesome
team as soon as we arrived.
Going to work can be a burden, but here we
took delight in doing it, even the early starts on the week ends, thanks to all
the cakes!
Indeed, we couldn’t believe such an
atmosphere could exist at work, with every body
getting on so well with each other, always ready to help, never
complaining.
You’re very lucky to work in such a
great environment…
Thank you everyone, do not change anything, we’ll never forget
you!! "
